In 2005, Polyus acquired licenses for exploration and subsequent gold production at Razdolinskaya, Kvartsevaya Gora and some other license areas, most of them locating in proximity to its producing mines - Olimpiada, Titimukhta and Blagodatnoye, which creates synergies for future development. Another potential future development project is Panimba, acquired in 2003 and explored since 2005. Poputnenskoye deposit with reserves under the Russian classification exceeding 2 m oz is one more gold deposit on the list of the company's projects that are to contribute to the group's future growth.
